DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - The Trep School is partnering with the Illinois Department of Transportation to provide a free, in-person workshop at the Soar Space Business Center. 

The center is located at 2 E. Main #36 (in Riverfront Plaza/Towne Centre). The workshop will be held Monday, October 20 at 5:30 p.m. 

It is designed to help small business owners understand the DBE certification process and determine their eligibility. 

Participants will learn: 

  • What DBE certification is
  • The benefits of IDOT DBE certification
  • How to assess whether their firm qualifies
If you are interested in obtaining certification, you can also schedule a one-on-one session for personalized guidance and support with the application.
