DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Three people, including two people under the age of 18, were arrested after police said they stole a vehicle and ran from officers in Decatur Monday.
The Decatur Police Department told WAND News that officers responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle near the intersection of North Florian Avenue and Kenwood Court just after 4 p.m.
Police said officers arrived and determined that the vehicle was stolen.
Police chased the vehicle through the neighborhood, and officers eventually arrested 20-year-old Anthony Momoh and two people under the age of 18 on charges related to the stolen vehicle.
According to court documents, Momoh is set to make his first appearance in court on April 28.
