BUSHNELL, Ill. (WAND) — ADM announced they are closing down their plant in Bushnell, Illinois to streamline operations.
The company said they are capitalizing on their recently recommissioned facility in Decatur. They said the changes allow ADM to be more efficient and support growing global demand.Â
"With our Decatur plant resuming operations, we expect operating profit to improve over time as we achieve manufacturing efficiencies and build back our specialty ingredients business," said ADM Nutrition Business President Ian Pinner.
Pinner said they plan to smoothly transition with any affected customers.
