DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) – Millions of Americans suffer from food insecurity, or the inability to obtain enough food.
The Kroger Company launched its Verified Savings Program that provides a 20% discount on fresh fruits and vegetables to recipients of various government assistance programs, including SNAP, WIC and Medicaid.
Kroger customers can sign up online. You can enroll with an online verification form. You will need a Kroger digital account, enroll in Verified Savings and the offer will automatically be loaded to your account.
The 20% discount on fruits and vegetables for eligible individuals is valid for purchases made through Jan. 31. When checking out, the discount is automatically applied.
