DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Lincoln Square Theater in Decatur has received a generous $300,000 gift through the Illinois Gives program at the Heart of Illinois Community Foundation.Â
Heart of Illinois announced on Facebook Monday the newly established W. Daniel and Donna Hardy Endowment for the theater.
The foundation stated that around $15,000 annually will help support the theater for "generations to come."Â
"Dan and Donna's generosity demonstrates the incredible impact that can be achieved when donors choose to create permanent community resources. Their gift will benefit the theater not just today, but every year into the future," said Heart of Illinois Community Foundation Chief Operating Officer Missy Batman in a statement.Â
