CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — An investigation is underway after a single-family home caught fire in Champaign Wednesday morning.
According to the Champaign Fire Department, firefighters responded to a fire in a single-story home near the intersection of Honeysuckle Lane and Diana Avenue just before 12 p.m.
The fire department said crews were able to keep the fire from extending to other homes.
Nobody was hurt, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation. It is unclear if anyone was displaced due to the fire.
