CLINTON, Ill. (WAND) - Over 1,500 people are without power in DeWitt County on Sunday. 

According to the Ameren Illinois outage map, 1,574 customers are affected, with the outage having started just after 10 a.m.

The map indicates that the outages have impacted the Clinton area. 

The City of Clinton posted an update on Facebook Sunday afternoon, stating that Ameren told the City a burnt-up pole caused the outage, and that crews are currently working to set a new pole.
