JACKSONVILLE, Ill. (WAND) — One person is dead after a Valentine's Day shooting in Jacksonville.Â
According to the Jacksonville Police Department, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 800 block of West Chambers Avenue just after 5:40 p.m. Saturday.
When they arrived, officers found a person, later identified by the Morgan County Coroner as 31-year-old Marcquila Harris of Jacksonville, who was shot.
Harris was taken to the hospital, where they died.Â
