DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The City of Decatur announced Friday that Fairview Avenue/Route 48 will be closed for several weeks beginning Monday, Feb. 16.
Fairview Avenue/Route 48 will be closed between W King and W Eldorado Street, or the Fairview Park entrance.
City contractors will install a new storm sewer during this time.Â
The road will be closed until the end of April 2026.
Residents will be unable to drive through this area during construction.Â
