(WAND) - To celebrate the centennial of Route 66, Wyndham Rewards has launched a highly limited, highway-inspired candy collection that comes with a massive travel perk.
The "Flavors of the Open Road" candy collection goes on sale Aug. 20, at 10 a.m. ET. Only 100 boxes will be available nationwide on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each box is priced at $19.26—a nod to the year the historic highway was established—with shipping included.
The collection features six unique candies inspired by classic stops along the route:
- Deep-Dish Pizza (Chicago, Illinois)
- Pecan Pie (Tulsa, Oklahoma)
- Smoked Brisket (Amarillo, Texas)
- Roasted Green Chile (Albuquerque, New Mexico)
- Prickly Pear Soft Serve (Flagstaff, Arizona)
- Root Beer Float (Kingman, Arizona)
The biggest perk of the box is the inclusion of 30,000 Wyndham Rewards points.
According to the company, the points are enough to book up to two nights at various hotels along Route 66, including brands like Days Inn, Super 8, Ramada, and La Quinta.
The box is available to U.S. residents exclusively at WyndhamRewards.com/Route66.
