DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — The Macon County Sheriff's Office was on the scene at the Macon County Fair Friday night due to a large fight.
Around 8:45 p.m., MCSO deputies were working off duty security at the fair when the fight broke out. One shot was fired during the fight but no one was struck.
One person incurred minor injuries after being knocked down in the crowd.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information can reach out to the Macon County Sheriffs Office at 217-424-1319.
The Macon County Fair is currently underway and runs through Sunday.
