SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - A Springfield man is facing multiple child pornography charges.Â
Ryan Atkinson, 35, was arrested Thursday at 8:20 a.m. at his home in the 5700 block of North Walnut Street Road on three counts of child pornography and three counts of unauthorized video recording.Â
The Sangamon County Sheriff's Office Investigations Division started an investigation into Atkinson on Jan. 14.Â
He was taken to the Sangamon County Jail and is awaiting arraignment.Â
A search warrant was executed on his home and vehicle. Officials said multiple recording and electronic devices were removed from the home and will be forensically examined for any further evidence.Â
