DECATUR, Ill. (WAND)- It's been two years since former Saint Teresa High School teacher, Amber (Johnson) Hooker, was hit and seriously injured by a reckless driver in Decatur.
Hooker posted an update to the Amber's Army Facebook page on Monday, sharing just how far she's come on the road to recovery.
Hooker suffered two brain bleeds and multiple bone fractures, and said she is lucky to be alive.
