(WAND) - NBC is set to take its viewers out to the ballgame next season.

NBC Sports and the MLB announced Wednesday a three-year deal to broadcast games on NBC, Peacock and NBC Sports Network beginning in the 2026 season.

The package includes 25 primetime games annually, an exclusive Labor Day primetime game on NBC and Peacock, and the entire Wild Card Round of the MLB playoffs.

Additionally, "Sunday Night Baseball" games will air on NBC and Peacock, similar to "Sunday Night Football" and "Sunday Night Basketball."

Peacock will also livestream one out-of-market game every day of the regular season.

The agreement will kick off with the two-time defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers hosting the Arizona Diamondbacks in the season opener on March 26.

NBC, NBCSN and Peacock will even have live coverage of the MLB draft in July 2026.

NBC and the MLB have a rich history together, as the network was home to the first World Series broadcast in 1947, and has televised 39 Fall Classics, the most of any major network.
