ROCHESTER, Ill. (WAND) - The Chicago Bears have named Rochester head football coach Derek Leonard their High School Coach of the Year.
All 32 teams nominate one coach with the chance to be named the Don Shula Coach of the Year.
Leonard led the Rockets to their ninth state title since 2010 this season.
His dad Ken, the winningest coach in IHSA history, was the Bears nominee last season.
