CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - The Illinois men's team is prepping for the start of their road gauntlet, with Penn State first up in this stretch. 

Illinois is coming off a 90-55 win over Southern just before the New Year. Penn State is 9-4 on the season, including 0-2 in Big Ten play. The Fighting Illini lost the previous matchup 90-89 in February 2024. 

Illinois is 3-1 all-time at The Palestra, having last played at the historic venue in 2003 with a 75-60 win over Temple, per Illinois Athletics. Three of the Illini's next four matchups are away.
