CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Illinois men's basketball opens up its two-game business trip to Los Angeles against USC Wednesday night.
The Fighting Illini returned to the win column following a 71-51 home win over Indiana on Sunday. Kylan Boswell returned in that one after a seven-game absence because of a broken hand. David Mirkovic led the team with 25 points in the win.
USC is 18-7 on the season, including 7-7 in the Big Ten. The Trojans will be a tough opponent, given its upset win over Wisconsin and a five-point loss to Purdue last month.
