Illinois looks to close out their west coast trip with a sweep as they take on UCLA Saturday night.Â
Saturday is the 12th meeting in the series between Illinois and UCLA and just the second as Big Ten opponents.Â
Illinois has won three of the last four matchups in the series since 1996-97, but is 0-3 all-time when facing the Bruins in Los Angeles.Â
The Illini last played the Bruins in Los Angeles on Dec. 30, 1997, a 74-69 win for ninth-ranked UCLA. Kevin Turner led the Illini with 32 points.
