CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) -- Illinois men's basketball kept their win streak alive after beating Maryland Wednesday.

Jake Davis got the start with Kylan Boswell sidelined.

Davis would play in 25 of the 40 minutes going 4-6 from the three point line finishing the night with 12 points and gour rebounds.

Head Coach Brad Underwood said he is always one of the vocal players whether its coming off the bench or getting the start.

Illinois now turns their attention to another top 15 matchup as they head to West Lafeyette to take on Purdue Saturday Jan. 24. Tip off is scheduled for 2 in the afternoon.
