DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — A yard sale containing items from the now closed Avon theater will take place Saturday morning.
The theater announced its closure in February after the passing of owner Skip Huston.
The items being sold belonged to Huston, and include movie DVDs, posters, collectible figures and other pieces of film memorabilia. They are being sold because the theater does not have the space to store all of the items, according to the theater's Facebook page.
The sale will be held in the front yard of one of Huston's family members at 110 S. Austin Ave in Decatur from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The sale will only accept cash, and no bills larger than $20.
