SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Two men have been arrested after they were caught burglarizing a Springfield business. 

The robbery happened Tuesday night at Central Illinois Signs and Lights on Linden Avenue. 

Springfield police said they found a broken window at the business and looked inside to find Jesse Myers and Richard Beiermann wearing ski masks and backpacks full of stolen tools and copper wire. 

Beiermann was released under the Pretrial Fairness Act after similar charges in September. 

Myers has 17 previous arrests for charges including robbery, theft and criminal damage. 

Springfield detectives will seek additional charges connected to three other burglary and theft cases still under investigation.
