DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - A person who was killed after a motorized bicycle crashed into a vehicle in Danville has been identified.Â
It happened Sunday at 4:11 p.m. in the area of Harmon St. and Voorhees St. Officers found a 43-year-old Danville man who was badly hurt after hitting a GMC Terrain.Â
He was rushed to the hospital but did not survive.Â
He was later identified as Garrell D. Hall.Â
Danville police said Hall was riding a motorized bicycle, traveling northbound on Harmon Street, when he failed to yield at the stop sign at the intersection of Harmon Street and Voorhees Street. The GMC Terrain, traveling eastbound on Voorhees Street, was struck on the passenger-side door by the motorized bicycle as it passed through the intersection.
