MT. ZION, Ill. (WAND) -- Alongside some fellow Mount Zion athletes, Braves quarterback Keller Stocks officially signed on to continue his football career at Western Illinois.
He had over 2,000 passing yards his senior year and thowing for 26 touchdowns. He rushed for over 400 on the ground and four scores.
In the classroom he boasts a 4.1 GPA.
Keller said the way the Mount Zion program is run and coach Etherton's college experience prepared him for the next level and the staff at Western made him feel like it's where he belonged.
Keller joins a plethora of players from around Central Illinois who are also heading to Western, including Cody Moss from Glenwood, Kaiden Stout from Rochester and Mekhi Newman from Springfield High.
