DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - WAND TV will air 26 Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever regular season games on its 17.2 digital subchannel COZI TV.

The games are available to viewers who use an antenna with their television. 

The Chicago Sky feature one of the game's best point guards in Courtney Vandersloot, plus Kamilla Cardoso and Angel Reese. 

The Indiana Fever have reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark, plus players Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell. 

Both the Sky and Fever are expected to contend for playoff spots. 

"The WNBA is one of the hottest and fastest growing leagues in the world right now and we're excited to bring some of its premier games to central Illinois viewers," said WAND TV President and General Manager Clay Koenig. "The Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever are right in our backyard and are without a doubt must-watch TV."

The WNBA has seen a surge in interest and television viewership in recent years. The league has worked to expand its footprint, feature more games, and elevate its top players. 

Fever games will be broadcast locally across five states, in addition to games that are scheduled for national networks. 

"From Indiana to Iowa and beyond, this level of access is unprecedented in our franchise's history and really reflects the surging popularity of our team, our players and women's professional basketball," said Indiana Fever President of Basketball and Business Operations Kelly Krauskopf.

The Chicago Sky have also expanded their broadcast platforms to reach more viewers across the Midwest.
