Job seekers invited to attend the Decatur Park District's hiring fair

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - If you need part-time or seasonal work, the Decatur Park District is here to help.

The Decatur Park District will host a hiring fair from 3-6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, at the Decatur Indoor Sports Center.

Positions are available at Scovill Zoo, Splash Cove, Overlook Adventure Park, the DISC, Midstate Soccer and more.

Ken Frye from the Decatur Park District shared that the event is a chance to see the opportunities available for first-time workers.

"If you're a first-time job looker or a seasoned person that wants to do something different for the park district this summer, come on out and see what's available. There's gonna be positions at Splash Cove, Overlook Adventure, Scovill Zoo, the DISC [and] the parks for regular maintenance. All different kinds of job opportunities this summer," Frye said.
