MACON COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) - Macon County is in need of Republican election judges for the March 17, 2026 General Primary Election.Â
If you want to become an election judge, call the Macon County Clerk's Office at (217) 424-1305 as soon as possible.Â
Election judges must be registered to vote, attend a 2 hour training prior to Election Day, set the polling place up Monday before Election Day, and work all day (about 5 a.m. until after polls close at 7 p.m. and ballots have been returned to the County Clerk's Office) on Election Day.Â
Election judges are appointed to a 2-year term. Election judge pay is $200.Â
