The community interest and donations poured in, in support of Fick's mission to restore the three-story Greek Revival completed in 1910. The 13-room, three-story home was constructed at the cost of $83,000 plus the lot cost, the equivalent of $2.8 million today.
Guests arrived at the Mansion from as far as 3 hours away.
The $5 donations at the door totaled almost $6500. Donations gathered will be used for renovations to the home.
