URBANA, Ill. (WAND) - A woman has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for stabbing a 70-year-old man to death in Urbana last year.
Richard Meek of Urbana was found stabbed to death on February 11, 2025 in the 1300 block of Laurel Drive. He had been stabbed multiple times.
Sharon Moore, 45, of Urbana was arrested for first-degree murder, obstruction of justice and on outstanding warrants one day later.Â
Moore was sentenced to 30 years after pleading guilty to murder. She will get credit for 357 days served.Â
