Jonah Lauff may not be the attention-grabbing type, but Pana's senior quarterback has quietly orchestrated the Panthers' remarkable 10-1 season and done it in remarkably efficient fashion.
Lauff led the Panthers to a 2A Round 1 win over Red Bud by completing 9 of 11 passes for 270 yards and five touchdowns. For the season he has completed 65.9 percent of his passes with 27 total touchdowns and just 4 interceptions.
Off the field, Lauff is equally impressive. He boasts a 3.91 weighted GPA and hopes to give back to his community in the future by returning to campus as a coach. He also volunteers through the Pana Pride organization, doing everything from helping at the food pantry to cleaning up public areas.
